It is very peaceful here. The ocean, the temperature, the beauty and the quiet really make it easy to relax.

We walked down to Pelican Reef Villas again. It is close and delicious with spectacular views. They have other items on their breakfast menu, like eggs and oatmeal and fruit and their breakfast entrees are included if you stay with them. Relaxing in South Ambergris Caye
Second Full Day
Some days you just have to lay around and relax. That’s one thing this island is great for: laying around, reading, swimming, eating, laying around….
So we started the morning with a golf cart drive to Blue Water Grill and had pancakes and eggs. Then back to Athens Gate for some reading on the beach.

Unbelizeable Belize!
Arrival Day
I am starting our blog with one of our favorite places to go for vacation. It seemed like the perfect time to start a blog about San Pedro, Belize since we just arrived yesterday for our 29th wedding anniversary.
If you have never even heard of Belize, I will start with some brief information about the country. It is on the eastern coast of Central America situated between Mexico to the north and Guatemala to the south. They are independent and English speaking. The best part is that the Caribbean Sea is to the east. Ambergris Caye is the largest island of Belize and the town of San Pedro is on that island.
